New Blog Design

Guys!!! I did it!! I finally found a good tutorial to do backgrounds, headers, blog buttons, and tons more!  If you are looking for some support on either creating a blog or updating your blog... you should really go check out Megan's blog I Teach, What's Your Super Power.  She has a page called Blog Baby Blog and she has tons of tips and tutorials!  Thanks to her, I finally figured out what the heck I was doing!  It's highly likely that I will change this design a few times, but for now, I am liking how it looks!  I still need to make my button so stay tuned for that!  I hope you like what I've done!

Here is my future button... as I try and figure out how the heck to use it!

    1. Thanks! I highly suggest her tutorials! Once I followed her directions, the hardest part was deciding what the heck I wanted it to look like!

    1. She is kinda amazing! And I think this is what you're looking for... Go to your design page (you know, where you click posts or comments or layouts etc.) and click on TEMPLATE. Then click CUSTOMIZE (it's right under the little thumbnail picture of your blog). In that screen click on ADJUST WIDTHS (its up on the top left side). Once you click that you should see 2 drag bars. Drag the top longer one to the right a little. Give it a second to process and you should see your header line up a little better. Let me know of none of that made sense or if that wasn't what you were looking for! Hope that helps! Ps... Love the design you did... I am your newest follower!

    2. The design you saw was a one I got from somewhere, I'm trying to make my own, but thank you!!! Thank you so much for the help too. I figured out how to get it centered, it was actually some HTML numbers I just messed with until it was right...LOL. My new problem is trying to figure out how to get it to take up most of the width across...Sometimes I wish I wasn't the type of person that had to do everything on my own...hahahahaha
Did you do your own background, header, and button? I'm just glad I finally figured out how to make them and how to put them in my blog, even if they aren't perfect, at least I know I'm in the correct vicinity:)
